Om Kosh started with a treasurer, a diary full of contributions, and one too many “where did the money go?” questions at the AGM.
Across India, housing societies and mandals raise crores every festival season, for Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali and dozens of local celebrations. Almost all of it is tracked in diaries, WhatsApp forwards and a spreadsheet that only the treasurer understands.
We think the people contributing their hard-earned money deserve better than a shrug at the AGM. So we built Om Kosh: a single, transparent home for the festival money, where a volunteer can collect at the mandap in fifteen seconds, a resident gets an instant receipt, and the whole society sees exactly where every rupee went.
Today Om Kosh is trusted by committees across six cities. We’re a small team based in Pune, obsessed with making festival finance so simple and so transparent that the arguments simply stop.
Tell us about your society, mandal or trust and we’ll set you up to run your next celebration with your whole committee, free to get started.
