Per-plate food plans, and cash drawn by self cheque

Engage a food vendor “Per plate, day by day”: each day’s dish, rate per plate and plates, with the deal total worked out for you
Beside every dish, what it cost the last time you bought it at an earlier festival, from any vendor, and the change in percent
See what the whole menu would have cost at last time’s rates, and start a returning caterer’s plan from last year’s menu in one click
Cash flow: record cash a committee member withdrew from the bank by self cheque, with the cheque number

See which volunteer is holding the cash

“Collectors hold the cash they collect”, a new setting in Settings → Profile (off by default): cash a committee member records on the mobile app is credited to their account on the Cash flow page
One line per collector per day, “Cash collected on 24 Sep · 10 receipts”, so the treasurer reconciles one bundle, not ten entries
The line follows its receipts: correct an amount, strike off a wrong entry or delete one, and the day’s total updates itself
“Committee cash” is now called “Cash flow”, and an admin can edit or remove a mistaken entry from any member’s passbook
Call them Festivals, Events or your own word, set once in Settings → Configuration and used across the app

Collect online, and reconcile against your bank

Self-serve contribution links, email members who haven’t paid a secure, one-time link; they see their own amount, scan a UPI QR and upload the payment screenshot, with no volunteer at the door
Send links to every pending resident at once, straight from the collection screen, and track who has paid, who’s still pending and whose link has expired
Online payments arrive marked “unverified” until you confirm them, so a screenshot alone never counts as real money
Bank reconciliation, upload your bank statement (CSV or Excel) and Om Kosh matches each online payment on transaction reference (UTR) and amount, verifying the ones it finds (and issuing their receipt) and flagging the ones it doesn’t
Email the members whose payments couldn’t be confirmed and revert them to “not paid” in one tap

Member analytics, above-minimum champions who consistently give over the minimum, never-contributed and explicitly-declined members (with the reason they gave), plus loyalty and top-contributor leaderboards
Income insights, cash vs digital (UPI / bank / cheque) mix by method and year, collection by wing / member category, a sponsor leaderboard (money and in-kind, repeat sponsors) and outside-donor contributions
Vendor performance, every vendor’s business with you charted year by year, with agreed vs paid and outstanding dues across the whole vendor master list

Follow up every pledge, and move committee money with a trail

Committee fund transfers, hand held cash from one committee member to another; it debits the giver and credits the receiver, so each person’s passbook and the “money with committee” total always reconcile
A dedicated follow-ups list for part-paid and receipt-issued contributions, with the outstanding balance charted on the festival overview and collectable straight from the mobile app
“Promised” notes, record what a resident said (“will pay on the 5th”, “sent the QR, paying tonight”) against their unit with no receipt, so the next volunteer knows they’ve already been asked
Mark a receipt invalid right from the receipts register, it keeps its number for the audit trail but stops counting towards any total, and can be restored
Tap any entry in the mobile recent-activity feed for the full detail, who collected it, the payment method, receipt, status and note

Collect offline, and a pre-festival checklist

The mobile app is now offline-first, collections and sponsorships save on the phone the instant you record them, even with no network at the mandap
An on-the-spot provisional receipt is issued offline; the official numbered receipt is assigned automatically when it syncs
Everything syncs the moment the connection returns, with a “pending / sync now” indicator, no entry is ever lost or created twice
